Our History

Widescope Services Inc is driven by the pursuit of continuous improvement, both for itself, and its Clients. This drive comes from a bringing together of a natural curiosity, and broad based problem-solving solutions rooted in experience derived from working for Top-Tier manufacturers in the pressure equipment industry.

Our principal’s (Rudy Habeduš) background in Mechanical Engineering Technology underpinned his inquisitive nature stimulating the desire to know answers when asked a relevant question.  This desire has translated into the core business philosophy that brings value to all of Widescope’s Clients. Or more practically described:

“Ask a thousand questions, get a thousand answers.  Now you know a thousand more things than you used to.”

This philosophy has proven to work well when Top Tier manufacturer resources are used to correctly answer those questions. Spread over some 25+ years, the knowledge-base has grown to be quite substantial.

Rudy's breadth of experience started with customer facing roles, and spans strategizing with management and executing through various manufacturing engineering, quality, legal, accounting functions to deliver the best solution for the End User.  This unique perspective is possible as a result of tremendous knowledge across these various disciplines.  First person contact with the End User combined with cross-training for field service of the equipment, led to an excellent understanding of End User operations and perspectives, and how to best bring the manufacturer resources to bear on any challenges.

Through time shifting to operations and manufacturer the transition to striking out as an independent consultant (under the Widescope banner) began in 2010 Sept, Rudy has provided a variety of services primarily to End Users.  This experience has only enhanced the overall knowledge and skill-set.

However, the desire to know the answer is still as strong as it ever was. The capabilities of Widescope Services continues to evolve to the benefit of its Clients.
