Widescope is a fully independent, niche consulting firm providing detailed, unbiased, support for various aspects of the pressure equipment industry. Widescope does not represent any product or brand. It only works in the interests of its Clients.

Although our services are typically accessed by End Users, there is substantial crossover into Manufacturer support as well, albeit within strict ethical limits.

Our main expertise (30+ years) is in all aspects of Pipeline Valves, Quick Opening Closures, and other similar types of engineered pressure fittings. This includes not only the manufacturing of these types of pressure equipment, but also their installation, operation, and troubleshooting/repair.

Widescope is qualified and capable of performing many types of unusual field based work that does not, oftentimes, have a clear description. Count on Widescope to help provide (or develop) that clarity of description and execute the work to a very high level of satisfaction.

Widescope ethics and the professional designation (C.E.T.) of our principal, preclude it from blindly accepting work beyond its capabilities. Any potential limitations will typically be identified during the preliminary interview, or as a worst case, as soon as they can be identified within a changing scope of work. The work will only proceed once both parties have a clear understanding of what the work actually entails, and what Widescope can deliver.

Widescope has been very successful in making its availability to existing and potential Clients as workable as possible. We are accessible through micro (2-3H), short, and long term contracting. All of which come standard with detailed tracking of time/expenses. Contracts can also be set up with billing thresholds, or retainer to provide cost controls in a proactive manner. Widescope excels at supporting contracts that have an unpredictable schedule, and work flow.
